ABOUT US

Our mission

SANVAD is a Canadian Punjabi journal of dialogue on multiculturalism, diversity, racism, immigration, employment and the refugee experience. It gives space to writing on education, poverty, labour, crime, drug addiction, domestic violence, bullying, women’s issues, the environment, children, housing, language and homelessness.

Alongside these social themes, Sanvad has always made room for media, art, theatre, literature, politics and sports — treating culture and social conscience as part of the same conversation.
